Generac Generators & Indoor gardens??

I live in a Rural part of Michigan and I'm entirely legal in my grow although I'm wondering if anyone has setup a Generac and had the auto transfer panel and everything installed in a house/shop where they are actively growing cannabis?

Wondering if anyone else has dealt with Generac that grows pot. We need something for our home because it's far too often that our power goes out and I definitely can't run my 10,000 watt garden off a gasoline generator..

What are going to use to power a 10k genny? Propane? Diesel? Natural gas?
I had a gas 5k watt Generac a while ago I used for business. Gave it to sis in law in Florida after hurricanes. That thing was loud. Let me rephrase that....it was LOUD! You could hear it a half mile away loud. You couldn't get peace at night loud.
Just wanted you to know...

Liquid Propane. My neighbor has a 22 killawatt generac and I'm unable to hear it when our power goes out. He's maybe 150 feet across the street. His runs on Liquid Propane and looks like this:

Are you maybe thinking of a different style unit? I know the style of generators with wheels aka portable generators can be extremely loud unless you get the inverter style.

I'm trying to power my entire house & indoor garden off the generator if I lose power so my crop isn't lost. When we lose power here it can be gone for a week at a time depending on what caused it. We've been having some pretty insane winds lately and they haven't cleared the trees out in a few years so I'm anticipating power loss.

I'm more wondering if the indoor garden would be something that would cause an issue with having the Generac installed into my home with an auto-transfer switch panel.

Oh, that kind. I had a portable commercial genny. Yeah, whole home generators are nice and quiet if you can afford them. I didn't know your budget was $10,000 plus. Good luck!
