MB15xM.T. By Clearwater Genetics Preservation Project
Hello all,
I have 4 seeds left of MB15xM.T. By Clearwater Genetics. The goal is to backcross to save this cultivar.
Currently I have Bruce Banner x Lemon Haze x MB15MT and Orange Cookie Chem x MB15MT growing and have backcrossed the second MB15MT seed ( male) to the above females. This will give me 75% MB15MT genetics. (4 seeds left now)
Should I BX both cultivars once more for 86% or should I cross both parallel strains first then backcross for 86% and improved genetic diversity for continued hybrid vigor? The goal is to get 96% MB15MT with minimal loss of hybrid vigor and inbred depression
