Geothermal Heat Exchanging

My goal here is to lay out 200-300 ft of garden hose buried in the ground X feet deep. The garden hose would be hooked up to a water pump and circulated through the hundreds of feet of tubing. The out/exhaust would obviously be cold(er) and dumped back into the RDWC system.

Any idea on how far on average I would have to dig vertically to achieve a good cold/heat exchange rate? East Coast with a soil thats primarily sand, clay, and silt mixtures. Link below if I wasn't detailed enough for a visual picture.

First you're talking about commercial systems. This is vum and a few gallons of water chilled a few degrees but unless he has a trencher that will do the 8ft deep cooper was talking about then .......1/10th horse chiller.vum.
 
Bro my 6" centrifugal fan just died =/ No air cooling atm. Going dark for 3 days straight to introduce flowering stage. Sigh /facepalm.

Its not worth the effort for what you`ll gain.

Right -- I was trying to discourage this idea as much as possible.

Sorry to hear about your fan Vumar. Check out Soler & Palau when you're in the market for a new fan. Mine been running 24/7 for almost 4 years now. No issues. They are made for the HVAC industry, not some crap hydro store fan.

I have both the TD-200 and TD-150. Looking into their "silent" series stuff myself.
 
Nice silent series, I wonder if the plastic impellers work as well as the metal impellers.. I do like the idea of a silent and removable/replaceable fan though. Ive had the same shitty centrifu for 4 years and was around $150 =P I ran my carbon filter LONG past due. Thinking of going with a cheapo fan + fresh filter for this run. Than changing it up next run... Im not liking air cooled hoods although I dont have the height to do much else. =/
 
Plastic impellers work fine. Im not exhausting anything. I need to setup some air exchange system with co2 supplemental. With sealed rooms and a minisplit. My electric bill will be like four bills in the summer i can already see it.
 
Way too cold to be exhausting room air. Without heat running downstairs the lone 600w cant keep the room warm enough. Room temps like 60 night and 70 day.
 
I hear you bro! Im seeing the same thingg. =/ no lights man. none. welcome to a nice intro to 12/12 I suppose. My Silver Kush will end up stretching like a monster =/ over-grown again.
