germinating

this is my second grow. couple of weeks ago my seeds sprouted then died when i put them in soil (my fault probs).
got some more seeds 3 days ago and started to germinate using paper towel method, after 48 hours they had cracked and showed signs of sprouting then i checked this morning and there was about 2-3 mil sticking out, if that. do some seeds sprout more slowly and would it be ok to plant them just now?

I tried germinating 4 bagseeds as my first grow, first I tried the cup method, which they eventually all sunk in about 2-3 days, but I didn't see a taproot and I don't think the seeds popped. After that, I decided to try the paper towel method, and after about 3 days of that, I still didn't see a root, this morning I decided to plant them anyways and see what happens. I currently have 4 16oz plastic cups filled with Fox Farm Light Warrior and a seed in each, we'll see what happens, I'll give it about two weeks and if nothing happens, I'll try 4 more, I got about 10 bagseeds left. It's hard to be patient haha.

I planted 5 auto-flower feminized seeds in rockwool cubes, but they aren't like the rockwool cubes I have used in the passed. I had heard these were better from my local source -- they are more of a foamy/"crunchy" material, if that makes sense. Either way, I soaked these slightly and placed the seeds inside the hole putting a little big of Happy Frog over the top. The cubes are placed into a humidity dome and after one night of sitting in the dark, they have been inside said dome under a 400w HPS for roughly an hour after some reading that I have done.

I have never sprouted straight from cube, I usually go inside of paper towel, wait for crack, then plant, but I'm going a different route this time. Write back here or please PM me if I have done something wrong that needs to be fixed as I don't want to waste the $60 on these seeds and use bag seeds.
