Germination

Hello all I got a germination technique that has given me a 95% germination rate over the last 2 years of growing rarely does this take more than 24 hours for all the beans to crack. (for my little indoor thing 4 took 10 hours). All I do is papertowels in a ziplock but I put that in my pocket (loose fitting pants) and the stable high temperatures makes them crack amazingly fast.

May not be the best technique but definitely worth a try imo.

Lol yea dad used to grow so he could spot them easily/rooms to cold so its been a continuing thing.

I have done the exact same thing! I had no other reliable heat source, so the seed went in between two peices of rockwool, added water, inside contact lenses case, and in my pocket all day. Like a chicken on an egg! and it turned out pretty healthy too. Then I went and got a seedling heat mat so I wouldnt have to play chicken all day:mrgreen:. $30 for a heat mat I don't know when I will use again? could be worth it, but the highest germ rates Ive ever gotten came from an inexpensive bank (peakseeds) and they ALL germinated without a heat source (including the two freebies!)
