Im from a country with fucked up laws and everything. Life is pretty hard here. I almost moved to Canada but Corona fucked everything up for me so here I am in the same place. Look my dream job is working in the Marijuana industry no doubt but im thinking its impossible for someone like me? Im willing to move to anywhere and build my CV for over the years to come and work hard but will any company hire an immigrant or hire from outside with a working visa? I just want to get a general idea and see what people think here, honestly I have no hopes to have the life I really want to live but I really want to deal my cards right and push the right buttons to get as close as possible

I work with a few people who recently came to Canada. It's very possible especially in Canada I'm pretty sure the government even pays people to move here. Also there's quite a few government marijuana grow ops around and less legit ones too ... lol Cheers

You can't get a work Visa to work in the marijuana industry in the United States. I don't know about other countries that have legalized but marijuana is still illegal at the federal level in the United States. And it's the federal level that controls immigration. It's confusing for people in other countries but marijuana is not actually legal in the United States. We have states that have legalized it at the state level and the federal government has allowed it. But if the federal government decided to they could raid every dispensary and state licensed grow operation in the country and seize assets and put people in jail.

If you were able to get to the United States on a Visa you could be deported for working in the cannabis industry because you would working in an industry that is illegal at the federal level. The only thing you could do would be a low paying job at a hemp farm because hemp is legalized at the federal level.

If you can get to Canada they'll let you get involved but it is more than just getting there. They have requirements and it will cost you lots of money and time.

I will just throw this out there. The first world is fucked up in it's own special way, especially right now. Stuff that is happening in the west now, reminds me of my travels in third world countries and poorer eastern European countries. Stay strong fren

I'd start working out like crazy and generally upgrading my appearance and seduction skills, then go to Canada for a "vacation" and find yourself a visa bride! Then you're golden.

Canada seems like a better option then the US. I knew on the federal level it is illegal but I did not know immigrants were only judged on the federal level and were not protected by the state they did their business in. Fucking crazy how they placed a system like this and not many people fighting against their tax-based asshole rules.

Well the federal government in the US controls immigration the same as in Canada. The US and Canada have a somewhat similar governmental structure. Both having an Executive, Legislative, and Judicial branch. The US has a President and Canada has Prime Minister. The US has Congress and Canada has a Parliament. The US has States and Canada has Provinces.

I have a couple of little businesses I grow mushrooms like lions mane and sell them for a small group of people, really enjoy earning money my own way. Have a lot of ideas and what I want to do want to create a brand where I can do all my business ideas, But thats my end goal, seems just like a dream right now. I just want to get my foot in the industry and meet more people in it atm

Dunno if its different depending on your country of origin but my buddy works for a large California based cannabis distribution company and they have a few foreigners. Not sure if they’re green card holders or here on work visas though.

Probably, green card holders, it seems its pretty hard with visas to work in the industry, oh the things I would do for a green card:(
