Gnats?

whats up with gnats? what exactly do they do. and how do they get in my grow space. i dont really have a problem yet, but there are a few floating around. where can i get some of those little sticky traps that everybody has.

the growfaqs I believe have something on alot of pests. Im sure is something for gnats in there. But any old plant store should have those bug traps.

I found these to work extremely well, and they are fun! I have zero flying bugs in the room now since picking up some of these! =)

I bought 2 bags of Miracle-Gro potting soil and little did i know that one of them had gnat larvae in it! At first i only saw one gnat or two and I vacuumed them up! But the next day their was an outrageous amount! So I went and bought Schultz Garden Safe Fruit & Vegetable Insect Spray. The next day almost all of them were gone and the day after that they were totally gone. I tracked the gnats down to one particular bag because after the infestation I went back to both bags and gnats flew out of the bag that I used on the infected plant! Since then I have switched soil brands!

Ahh, that must of been why I got the gnats to begin with I was using the MG organic choice soil.
