hey guys this is the first time i got a closet with no real ventilation in it. no extractor fan and nothing blowing air in. Its a really dark spot and it goes up to about 80 degrees. Its the only spot i got. Im gonna set the dehumidifier to 40% and aim a fan at the drying buds. Ill open the door about once a day to let new air in. does this sound like its gonna prevent mold? any tips from anyone in this situation?

thanks.

Should be fine...just move all the branches around so you don't risk mold spots, and get fresh air in ....... happy harvest.. !!

Line the walls in clean cardboard. Great for sucking up moisture! Fan blowing directly on drying buds...Not good. Dries them to fast and loss of potency results. Make sure nothing is touching, put a small fan under the plants to keep the air moving around in there.IMO Much Love.

:blsmoke:I don't know how big your harvest is, but I know an awesome method for drying. Its what I do. Get a clean cardboard box, cut a 10x10" window on each side, put some kind of mesh screen to prevent bugs (my apartment has german roachs), use hemp twin to make a line or two going across. Hang them in the box, have a fan outside moving air, wait 5-12 days until dry, then cure. Keep the box in a dark, dry, 70-80 degree area and you should be fine. :peace:

This pic is some small clones inside my box. Due to the annoying bug problem (reason why were moving next month), I had placed strong double stick tape around twine and box entrances to prevent any pests from attacking.

3 baby german cockroaches. I really hate this apartment. But for some reason they never go in my grow box, even now that its dormant. I think it may have the same effect as mint plants.
