Got a few random high questions.

1. What’s the difference between auto flower and regular plants?
2. I harvested my buds from hang dry a day or two early. I put in a brown paper bag for now. Is this the best option?
3. What exactly does the curing process do. Does it make the bud smell like actual dank? My first ever harvest was killer but it smells a little like grass and kush. Will the smell of kush get stronger and the grassy smell dissipate?
Thanks for your time answering my high ass 6 in the morning guy questions

1. They automatically flower vs plants that depend on a change in light to promote flowering. That means if you put both under 24 hours light, the auto with flower but, the Photo will just keep vegging until you change the light schedule to 12/12.
2. If they are still moist, sure. Once the smaller stems snap vs bending, stick them in mason jars.
3. It brings out the terpene profile and helps with drawing moisture out of the buds. That’s why you “burp” it. And yes, the grassy smell will lessen and the kush smell should intensify.

1. Autos flower after a set amount of time without having to change the light schedule. Regular plants (photoperiods) flower when the light decreases to under 14.5 hours of light.
2. The best method is to slow dry them with air circulating but not have a fan blowing directly on them. The stem should snap when they are ready. At that point theh can be jarred up (but buying a hydrometer to test the humidity in your jar is wise) you want it to be between 62 and 55 rh.
Opening the jar and and gently shaking them every day for a week is important it's called burping the jar.
3. The hay smell is from drying them too fast. The cure starts at harvest. A slow dry will retain more of that dank smell and make the smoke smoother.
A quick dry makes the smoke harsh and gives it a grass smell.

Thanks brother sounds good. I’m gonna let the buds dry out a bit more before jarring them. Next time I know it was a bit too early but it still smells good but a lil grassy still. I got the buds drying in paper bag until it’s ready to cure

Ya brother my mistake of cutting the buds off a little too early. They still smell good but not what they could’ve been. Got them drying in a paper bag until I can jar them up and hopefully retain some of that dank ness it still has.
