Newbie, but my GDP is staying green, there is one tiny little spot of purple under my microscope, expect further development in color?

Never grown it, but have read often enough that you have to stress it with cold nights to bring out the purple. Good luck!
You grow it under normal temps... and then in the last week you drop temps down to 13/18c and it will turn purple. Only do it at the end or you will impact yield.

You got like 5 weeks left. Relax lol. Let her ripen up. The purple will come out with time if your genetics allow.
I've been finding a lot of purple genetics in my fastbuds strains.

ive had two gdp dominant crosses. fpog and subcool deep purple. they both have purple smell and taste lol but very lil purple color if any.

Pretty common for gdp not to turn purple.
Low temps arent needed if you get a true purple pheno. There are others out there that are more prone to turning that color if that is what you are looking for. GDP can be awesome in either color

I’ve grown blueberry. All same genetics, some turned some didn’t. I read it was low temps at night that bring it out. Tried it and seen no difference. I’m sold on it has to be about genetics. Just my experiences anyways

Colour comes when the plant is ripening, your plant still has 6ish weeks by the looks of it.

I ran Ken's GDP for several years. Seeds and a couple of mothers. Sometimes it would purple up and sometimes it wouldn't. They would either all turn or none of them would. I think cold helps, but there never really seemed to be a specific cause.

Not sure I follow. The leaves are definitely green, mildly nitro burned early, but she is in great condition. The light is making it look yellow if that’s what you meant.

No. From what I see around here is when you see pics of purple leaves it’s usually from under fed or cold. Not talking about your plants. Cheers.

If you keep touching the hairs , you interrupt one of the "finishing" indicators. Are you wanting purple color ? Or grape flavor ? Or both ?
