Great experience with the Seed Depot

A few months ago I ordered from The Seed Depot during a House of Funk promo, and recieved my seeds but a few were crushed from sliding out of the black plastic protector. I mentioned it in a thread here where someone else had an issue with sloppy packing. JB, the owner of tSD contacted me and was very gracious with a bunch of different options and said he would improve the quality of packing. I recently made an order for 2 6-packs of seeds with a discount. Packed very neatly...a 7-pack, and a 12-pack of what I ordered....with 10 extras and a hand written note. Very cool.

Great website, constantly adding new breeders, good promos, good prices, improved packing, very fast help desk, and customer service like this....I will order from them again.

I just had a bad experience with seed depot and I will never buy a single seed there because of it. They have a forum and I wanted to ask some question to a breeder, that meant I had to register. Standard practice and nothing new there. But, shortly after registering I was sent a note that told me my application for registration was refused because 'I did not meet the standards'. I mean, there are NO QUESTIONS ON THE FORM. So, I sent them a rather irate message and a few day later I get a response that said something about my application being automatically rejected because of thousand of spammers trying to get in on a regular basis. I understand a site has to protect itself from spammers but if you are a business you may want to make it possible for people to actually get info about the products they are thinking of buying, and if you cannot do that without insulting and reject them then maybe that's not the right business for you, just saying.

Anyhow,I tend to be quite easy to deal with and I usaly don't like conflicts but in this case such a poor management and so much arrogance have turned me away from Seed Depot forever. Use Seedsman, Seed City, Female Seeds, or even the Attitude Seed bank, but stay away from these clowns...

So nice, this is the 2nd post I have read from you bashing Seed Depot, a company I have heard nothing but good things about from people who are reputable. I think it's funny that your issue has nothing to do with the seeds. Go eat your sour grapes elsewhere. I take it you are easy to deal with when everything goes your way....

Well, here's the first you heard from me. They sent half my order and after numerous attempts to contact them I've have given up hope of ever hearing from them or recovering my product or funds. I know a lot of you are sold on them but the bottom line is, they ripped me off.

Tripstick, I just read in another thread that Seed Depot Customer Service requested a PM today from you. They will make it right with you.
