Green House Seed Co Trainwreck and Bubba Kush

This is my 1st thread for rollitup, so here we go.

I popped one seed of GHS trainwreck and one of Bubba Kush obviously with 100% success, I use the really small rockwool cubes for all germination of everything I grow and they work great. The germination combined with the vegetation period was one month, then switched to 12/12, the newest picture is from week 6 of flowering. PS i did bend both of the main colas to allow for more light penetration, that's why they are crooked.

Grow area: 2x3x5 tent
grow medium: fox farm ocean forest, with rocks in bottom of pot for best drainage
lights: t5 for germination and early vegetation, 400 watt hps for flower (with cooltube(absolutely the best thing for small closet grows))
temps: around 75-78 F
nutrients: Big Bloom during vegetation, and FF open sesame, beasties bloom, and cha-ching for flowering ALL USED AT HALF DOSAGE from the foxfarm feeding schedule. IE for the solubles, around 1/3 tsp per gallon.

I know many people don't like GHS, I have not been disappointed with them yet, haha that is the keyword im guessing. But i successfully grown bubba kush, trainwreck, lemon skunk, and big bang from greenhouse with great success so far. here are the pics. 1, 2 = trainwreck 3, 4 = bubba kush

you can't be dissapointed with them only growing 1 of each strain, its when you grow the whole pack dissapointment sets in.

nice plants though, you've done a good job.

Although, I have not smoked either yet, I can tell by the amount of trichs on the trainwreck that it will be a quality smoke. The bubba kush will be good as well, but it is not as ripe as the trainwreck. I cannot wait until the harvest and cure!!!! The smoke report will follow some time after that.

Nice i was just saying how i havent seen any trainwreck grows on here and want to see some. I love me some trainwreck and your looks great it should be an amazing treat for you once its cured and dried. Looking good keep it up!!

Thanks Speedy, yeah maybe I got one of those rare phenos from GHS that didn't hermie!? haha, anyways, I am always open for new idea on strains to grow, any suggestions?

I'm looking for a strain that is very trippy and visual. BTW the seeds i currently have are big buddha chiesel, nirvana swiss cheese, mazar-i-sharif, duch passion twilight and skunk #11, super lemon haze, church, kings kush, an old school thai hazeX skunk #1, pure power plant, dinafem power kush, lemon skunk, thats all i can recall off the top of my head. Now any suggestions?

I'm also growing out the fem'd Bubba Kush from Green House Seeds, I hope I don't get a hermi as well. The vigor seems to be there, I'm only using 1 6500k cfl for veg and it's 3 weeks old, and looks pretty good, nice strong stem and large fan leafs.
I hear alot of trash talk about them but, I'll be the judge when it's all over with.
Nice looking grow man, that Train Wreck looks very appitizing, good luck man

a number of tga strains
sensi seeds black domina
magus motivation, exile

to name a few, if you need any more suggestions give me a shout.

yeah the fan leaves on my bubba kush were very big as well. You might want to get a big light (400watt hps) for flower because the light penetration is going to be an issue with the bubba kush.

Tell me about vortex from subcool, i have read a few of his post and others about some of his strains, i know many people swear by him and i enjoy reading his threads.

Vortex is possibly sub's best strain, it should be more based upon what flavour and type of plant would work best for you. I'll give you choices, but the choice is yours

400 hps that's what I use for flower, I actually use 2 6500k cfl's but 1 is over the Bubba and 1 is over a Blue Widow

yeah you will be very happy with the growth, the main cola of the bubba gets very big so i think topping during your veg period will greatly increase your yield.

Thought I'd make a thread for just Bubba for everyone to post their pix of it so other people can look them and could help other ppl growing it out. You can list what you used to grow it and anything you may have found helpful in growing her. Thanks

I got some ghs from the uk,and canada.The thing is that the company in canada has yellow big bang,blue white widow,and a few more that are different. Theytold me that it has something to do withnorth america.I cant email ghs cause im in the us.The packaging is either legit,or they are awesome at making fake packs.Has anyone heard of this,if not the company went up on their prices,probably to get the back cover of high times mag!Let me know if im over reacting towards montreal seed bank!!!!
