Green seeds?

hey I was just wondering I've got three seeds but two of them are premature (green) and I was wondering if you could grow plants out of those and of so would they be like bad plants? I am getting more but just wondering

They sometimes sprout, and might take a little longer to get established, but the genetic potential is unchanged. Could be a keeper...

might as well try to get them to sprout...probably a 1 in 5 chance

The problem is that any plants you grow from green seeds will also be green.

OK, seriously... I've seen a lot of immature green seeds sprout. If you get a viable plant out of it, once the plant starts growing it's as good a plant as anything grown from a dark, speckled, mature seed. Just don't ever tell the poor thing it came from an immature seed. It might develop psychological difficulties - which could in turn lead to sexual problems, and your plant might become a hermaphrodite.

Not that there's anything wrong with that, of course. It's just not the sort of life most people would choose for their babies.

yea they somtimes will sprout its worth giving it a try last year i had a plant grown from a green seed and it was fine but the stem was all twisted and kinked at the bottom but i think thats just the way it grew out of the soil

I've only ever planted green seeds. I think out of about 40, maybe 2 didn't sprout. All grew fine until eaten by animals. The one that made it got compromised and had to be chopped way early. Never had a chance to finish, maybe a week into flower, if that. Still some potent ass smoke though. Always wonder what it would have been like if it had the chance to finish.

I do it all the time. There's a field of wild dope growing a half mile from my house, and some years I'll go grab a female plant, harvest a few hundred seeds, and just spread 'em around all over - parks, freeway offramps, whatever. It's a beautiful plant, and I love to see it growing everywhere I look.

I hated that my parents smoked weed, when I was 8 I found a cigar box full of seeds...so I took a handful and planted them all over the place in our back yard and in every plant in our house... My Mom and Step Dad had no clue I did it until I admitted it many years later.

I had a nice plant growing right outside the window of my mothers house, and i lived in a condo complex so landscapers walked by every other week. she ripped it down, pretending to be mad and then we ended up smoking it.
