Grow #3 White Widow X Big Bud; Closet Veg...

Hi, folks didn't expect to have 2 grows going at the same time but circumstances as they are, I do. In the tent flowering are Blue Mystic "Autos" Nirvana Strain, not so auto as they are now 7 weeks old and just started to bud after moving to 12/12.
This new grow is White Widow X Big Bud from Feminized Seeds, and yes they are supposed to be feminized.
In the closet: Just 2 plants in compost w/ perlite 3 gallon pots.
Nutrients: what ever I got on hand.
Lights: CFL's starting out with 156watts actual, mixed 2700K and 5000K, will probably be at 416watts actual by the time I start to flower.

Plant day, and here we go....

So, I do concider myself still new at growing even though this is my 3rd. It seems I have had a perpetual grow going since I started as I have had plants at some stage of growing since. I have contiued to read and learn as much as I can, and have experimented along the way. My first grow was DWC 5 gal buckets, an 18 gal tote with 5, 5inch baskets and 3, 3 gal planters with compost. As of late I have begun to experiment with clonning and to my surprize it worked.

These 3 clones are from 2 plants I currently have in my tent flowering. 2 clones are sativa domenent and the other is indica domenent. As I have no room in the closet or the tent for a 12/12 complete grow I have made the decision to grow them outdoors. As this will be a secret grow, I hope I can keep pests and critters away from them.

Yeah, I know...isn't it funny how things happen. I guess once you get bit by the growing bug there is no stopping...lol. The current grow with Blue Mystics was planned along with this one, the 3 bag sededs cropped up when the GF brought them to me in one pot and asked if I could seperate them. They were to far along and to close together to begin, so they went into the big pot and I'm flowering them. At least I'm still in the same closet and tent I have had since I began and I know that is not about to change.

My newest little girls 2.5 weeks old and one week in the pots. Seems they are lovin the compost and since I had it Fox Farm Trio with some Kangaroots and Microbrew. Just mixed a gallon and fixing to give them a drench.

Went and visited my Secret Garden today, thought I'd share a few images

the secret garden came about as I didn't want to kill the clones as they were an experitment to see if I could clone. The first seven pictures are of three different plants that have been in the ground for a week, the last three are from planting this beauty this morning.

Went out to the Secret Garden today, gave them a drink and nutes and thought I'd share what I got...

I gave some reference to size as they have only been out there for 2 weeks. The last plant picture is an indica strain that had to re-veg from flowering.

Here they are at 4weeks old and 2 1/2 weeks in the pots, raised the lights to get a little more stretch going to veg them for another week then bring them into flower. Oddly enough I did some reading on this strain and they suggest 3 to 4 weeks of veg then flower, I'm looking for a little more growth.

Went out to the Secret Garden today to water and feed some nutes.

I'd have to say they aren't doing to bad for only being in the ground for 3 weeks come tomorrow, they have all doubled and in some cases tripled in size from clones.

Here are my girls, White Widow x Big Bud, they are 4 1/2 weeks old and I had to change things up as I needed to keep in the rules of a Party Cup Grow Off.

I set one of the cups in to give some reference as to how tall they are, I have also gone to 12/12 under my Black Star 135W UV. It's the only way I can stay in the competition.

Well 5 wks old and 4 days under 12/12 LED 135 watt uv Blackstar, I am impressed so far. Here's a peek let me know what you think...

The last picture is my entry into a grow off, 16 oz party cup from seed at 12/12, there are 4 bag seed, 1 pineapple chunk, 1 mystery seed (hope it's a female).

Looking good Tx, That WWxBB has filled out nice.

Those party cup entries are right about the same size as mine. How far you keeping the panel above them? I decided to go with 15 inches and let them grow into it. So far so good, no bleaching.

As the LED growing is new to me I'm experimenting with distances but currently I have it 12 inches above the seedlings. I'm taking a different approach to growing these WW x BB, I'm not doing anything to them but feeding them. No trimming, topping or bending, going to let them just grow and see what I can get from them. This will be a first for me as every other grow has had some form of plant manipulation.

12 inches... I'm probably right around there now as the little guys are growing into the panel. I think I'm seeing some bleaching on one, I'll have to keep and eye on the situation. I may be way too close for this early stage.

I hear ya, I tried everything last round. Some topping, some lst, some super-cropping etc. Sometimes natural is the way to go. I'm going all natural with my autos this upcoming winter. At most I'll prune them and see if I can get some nice single cola christmas trees! heh.
