I am going to make a small colset grow box. It is 24" tall, 22" long, 18" wide. I was going to use 3 or 4 18" flourescent lights that will have adjuastable heights. holes in the top for heat exhaust (and fabric softener sheets to get rid of smell) and a computer fan for air circulation.

Im getting either Lowryder or Autoflowering Hindu Kush (both don't get much taller than 12 inches)

Hows the design.

Any tips?

money is limited to about $100, if I don't get much from my outdoor harvest,

Sounds ok for starters. I would throw in 4 or more cfls for low/side lighting. How many plants you gonna go for? You may also need more ventilation. I got some dank chron out of a very similar set up my first go around.

I dont think 24" will be a problem, I am ordering either Lowryder or Autoflowering Hindue kush (only gets to bout 14" in highth, very little branching, only lives for 2 months from seed to harvest on 20/4 light cycle)

I dont think I would be able to get any CFL's because of electric bill ( live w/ dad who hates weed)

Does anyone know of low energy/ high lumen lights that can easily fit in here? I only need like 3-6 plants, just for a personal stash. outdoor growing for $$$ (which may help funding)
