I'll look into to these things.
This is the dreaming about it part for me.
You got to work through the thoughts and ideas so when money is spent there are no regrets.
I can't remember how many times I bought before I was sure and ended up with parts on hand and no immediate use for them.

today, there are so many capabilities with electric and electronic parts, literary, even if this thing is operated at 24 v, you can find custom board to run it and connect it to your arduino that works on 5v and has 20mA output on his pins... and were not even talking about adding something like a timer for when its night it opens and intakes fresh, cold air, in short, programming logic... i usually start my process from the most ideal thing i need, then i search for existing solutions, if there are none, i think about how to make my own, and is it plausible to do so, or can i maybe adjust my system to a product i learned about in search for existing solution, and i let my ideas sit and cook, until i buy anything...

Little update to my setup. I shared my code on GitHub. This is not a tutorial and there is 0 help on how to go about building what I have done, more of a reference for myself and others. It is messy, lots of crap I don't use anymore (mostly template sensors) and some left over automations and integration. I'm working on automating the feed barrels (not the actual nutes just yet, just the RO and Dehu storage tanks to the feed mix tank) With the system as it stands now. I pulled down 1.3lbs per plant (7) on my very first crop ever. running 12 this round and learned some lessons so it will get better.
