grow room heat problems 1000 watt

my grow room cant handle the temps in the summer so i just bought a air cooled hood will this help allot or just a little? i got it for 60$ on amazon is this a rip off pluse 30$ shipping so 90$. was this a bad invesment?

if its done the job its a good investment, surely ?

Sounds pretty cheap to me, im not exactly sure on the price but im positive it'll help for sure if your actually plan on cooling the light with and inline fan and ducting it out of the room.

Short answer: NO, if all you got was the hood... and not because it was inexpensive.

How is the hood vented? Do you have 6" ducting and an inline fan to bring air in from the outside, thru the hood, and vented back outside? Or is the hood just sitting there acting like a heater?

yeah, i'd have to say that just an aircooled hood is a waste without the proper fan to vent it. I was having heat issues this summer so I switched to a vented hood with a 6" inline. Helped tremendously went from 93-95 to 75 with no AC.
