I also got sucked into their snazzy website and promises of high THC. I ordered and grew 4 strains--OG Kush, Tangerine Dream, White Widow and Critical Purple. Collectively, they were the worst plants I've ever had in my garden. They were all vigorous and healthy, but all hermied. And the auto's didn't auto. I had to flip to 12/12 twice and keep it there the 2nd time to get them to finish flower.

Grower's Choice says they have a guarantee on their seeds but when I emailed them about the issues they were not much help. Only replaced a few seeds that didn't germinate. Got 2 CBD Blueberry and 2 CBD Critical seeds as replacements. 3/4 of those didn't germinate.

After harvesting, it wasn't worth asking for replacements a second time. Every strain was mid-grade at best. Tangerine Dream was my favorite, but I wouldn't grow it, or any of the others again. I still have half packs of everything but don't have any plans to run it again.

Imo, there are better seeds and better seed companies out there. Don't fall for their website glitz. You can find better genetics--and most of the time cheaper--anywhere on these forums.

Yeah. Also good reviews which helped initially convince me. But then I read that they remove the negative reviews, so its not honest.

And yes, they offer all the classic strains which sound so good. But just spend a few days browsing pics and reviews here and I think you will find much better stuff for you

I'm sure everyone can suggest their fav breeders and strains but for me personally I would recommend Bodhi, Honest Genetics, Strayfox and The Nature Farm. I'm growing all of these in my garden now and all except Bodhi have 100% germ rate and have been much more stable (so far). Disclaimer, the Bodhi seeds I knew were years old before I planted them and they still have 90% germ rate so I'm pleased with that. And the pictures of the Honest plants were what convinced me. Much frostier and more impressive than anything GC has to offer.

Also, I haven't grown any yet but it looks awesome--you should check out Useful Seeds here on RIU. Useful has impressive plants, good deals and just released some new gear last week

Honest and (I think) the Nature Farm are still having Holiday sales too. Hope that helps and hope you find something good!

Some direction please from you please and thank you very much for the info
Never hurts to have a go to seed bank that's been around, and has glowing reviews. They typically only offer reliable strains and stand behind their vendors. DC Seed Exchange, Great Lakes Genetics, and James Bean Co have great selections in all price ranges; many offer free packs w/ purchase.

No offense to OP but of course a online supplier is going to have super bomb photos and descriptions. They want your money so its no honor no holds bar. Par for the course.

Just look at seed buying like I do, its always a gamble so never risk more than you can afford and always research the team before placing a bet.

For the seed sellers in the US I've heard mixed things on all of them. It's still a young industry here. I ordered two 3-packs of seeds from GC and the Tangerine Dream popped and then died immediately. I was using tap water, though, and our water isn't great, so lesson learned. Used store-bought RO water to do their Critical Purple and had no problems. Popped 3 beans and selected the best two to go into the hydro system. They've been on 18-6 for 8 weeks and went into flower just fine. I guess it's just the green lottery. I have some G13 Pineapple Express and some Girl Scout Cookies freebies on hand from The Single Seed Centre (which consequently has shipped to me domestic the past couple times from Cali) waiting to go but I also have some photoperiod Durban Poison from Growers Choice that I will run next and see if my good luck with them was a fluke.

Here's the CP Auto buds right now.

The first place I ever got seeds from. Critical Purple Auto 27% thc.. A 3 pack. 1 out of 3 popped. It was decent for an auto. I didn’t even bother getting in touch with them. I just chalked it up as a lost....

The plant grew fine, nice flavor and smoke.
Out of those 3 seeds, I know 1 was gonna give me problems ,it was a small pale whitish immature looking seed.. after hearing about Seedsman and the freebies it was over for them... in state or not..I will post pic of packing... I liked that at least, got a seed holding vavle:roll:
