Growing tips/buds turning black

Can anyone tell me what is going on here. I've had this happen before and couldn't figure it out even after lots of research. The tops end up turning completely black, killing all the trisomes and making it impotent and unsmokable. I thought it was an overfeeding problem but this time I barely fed them.
Any ideas????

So, did you build that soil your self? Reduce the K amendments!

Feeding it? What exactly?

LOL...don't flush.....It doesn't work as said....
I'd look at the trichs in a week and follow up every other day if need be.....11 weeks from flip sounds right and looks about it..

I am curious about your temps. What are they running?
soil or hydro?

I’m growing 1 Lamb’s Bread, 1 Chernobyl, and 1 Dead Head OG Kush. They started flowering three weeks ago. This problem started shortly afterwards. I’m growing in dedicated half 45 gal drums with good drainage. The soil I’m using is Pro-Mix - All Purpose Mix (link below) with a little sheep manure mixed in. I realize it already has nutrients added but hard to find stats. I’m feeding them Plant-Prod Ultimate 15-30-15 (from the same company as Pro-Mix) although they don’t seem to have it on their web site so I included photos. I’ve fed them July 28, when they started flowering and and August 17. I hope this gives you enough to go on. Your initial assessment makes sense to me but curious to see if this info changes your opinion or reinforces it. Again, thank-you.

Be careful how much you use that "bloom" nute! The high P and K give me a pause....big time!

I MIGHT have hit the plant with that once at 5 weeks and MAYBE again at 6 but it would depend on how the plant reacted to it after 7 days of not getting any more....I would use something a bit more balanced at say a 2-1-1 ratio like say 12-6-6 half strength till I "spiked" it with the High P&K food at week 5....A 3-1-2 ratio is nice and friendly......Jacks and Peters make one.....

All in all, It will finish out.....just cut that high P&K down.

LOWER those temps! 70-75 would help !!!

I have almost The identical picture going. I was told to spray with peroxide, should I just leave it alone?
