Did you end up getting a pH doser ? how is it going?
Yes sir. Was too good of a deal too pass up. I paid $480 for my last unit. This is my second unit.

Its a solid out of box unit. If I knew arduino I would prefer to make it custom since theres some issues I dont like with these.

Issue is they only keep pH at a static point. There are no range parameters. Which is fine since if you wanna play a range you can set it to 5.6pH and switch to control mode. Do other things rather than continually mixing and adding more and over doing it then come back and switch to monitor mode and let rise up to 6.1 and then repeat.

Or if u dont mind keeping at a set pH its great for that.

I wish it were a range u could set with some if that then this code.

So it does what I do manually automatically.

All in all I think its worth it. I use 120gal systems and the less time I have to be mixing the more time I can tend to plants

My tank is a lot smaller, only 25 gallon.

I'm looking at getting a basic bluelab pH controller. My pH stays where I want it to until I start adding bat guano in flower and it shoots through the roof. After I mix a tabk I'm adjusting when I remember too but it needs to be monitored and adjusted for about 2 days and then it levels out. In that first couple of days I'm getting spikes of over 7. My feeds must be all over the place and causing the plants quite a bit of stress. I just need to stay at 6.2 and not bounce around.

Bluelab should be a pretty good choice.

If u want a static pH this unit is awesome for that.

Small peristaltic pump abd customizable on/off settings for it. This prevents overshooting the pH on small res and constant cycling on larger res

What was the make and model? I'm in Aus and I'm limited to what my local grow shop can get in.

yep it's expensive. not really much else on the au market though. If my local grow shop stocks them I'll probably pay closer to 500.
Yeah...its a great unit and worth 500 USD IMO. Saves me so much time. Also not sure how good it is to continually submerge hands on nutrient solution. Even if u wash up after.

Also allows me to set pH to 5.8 and leave for a week or two.

So this bluelab unit is the one you are using too?
