H2o2 and Chlorine Thread

Just like the title says. I would like this to be a thread for all to come to for questions, info and anything else pertaining to pathogen control. No enzymes please.

I use bleach yep that's right regular ol clorox, at 1ml per 10 gallons. It does raise your ph. Its suggested to use every 12-24 hours but I think that's excessive. Personally I use it every other day.

When using h2o2 at 35% food grade I us what Al B. Fuct suggest at 1.7ml(Ok I use 2ml:bigjoint:) per liter with good results. Don't think the 50% is available in most areas in the U.S but if you are able to obtain it use it at 1ml per liter. Every 3-4 days. Be careful not to over do it.

Clorox is much more readily available to everyone but h2o2 can be hard to obtain for some(myself included) and iam not talking the 3% stuff. While iam on the subject I've heard mixed reviews about using the pharmacy type h2o2. For one its not realistic for most growers at 17ml per liter and two most say not to use the stabilized type. I've personally used pool h2o2 27% and it has stabilizers in them and my plants didn't like it. They were droopy the next day. This could be from something else but I doubt it.

If you can I would try to buy local. Try searching google maps or google web local for chemical supply store or health food store. If your lucky enough you might have it right down the street.

Some use bleach to clean rez etc.....and others use h2o2.

I personally prefer h2o2 for mant reasons but I think I've wrote enough, lol. Just a start I know there's plenty of you out there that can chime in.

Peace and good vibes to all

The list goes on you basicly can use one in place of the other.
