Had some bugs on my buds

I'm in week 9 of flowering. I have been away and came back after 7 days of leaving my plants. One of my plants that I moved from outside to inside had a ton of white looking mites on it. Really tiny. I ended up just cutting it down tonight. I shook it, and brushed it off for a good while in the bathtub then I turned the shower on and just let it drench it for like 5 minutes. I didn't see much more of those damn things on the plant after doing that but I'm sure there was some within. I have the plant hang drying and plan on curing it properly...

But I was just curious if it would be straight to smoke it? I cut a few buds off to test it. The top half of the plant was more covered than the bottom of the plant. Also the top is kind of dry compared to the bottom. It looks really good still but I'm just nervous about smoking it Any opinions would be appreciated :blsmoke:

What were you thinking m8? You have probably wrecked your grow room by introducing mites, if they are mites!
I wouldnt smoke that crap if you paid me too, but then again i remember crawling on the carpet looking for tiny bits of hash.
but seriously, if you have the means to make bubble hash freeze it up & make hash , the mites or their egg's (Which will be under the leafs) can not make it through the micron meshing in the bubble bags, so you wont be smoking them this way & you are going to need a smoke, because now you have to sterilize your grow room. Learn from your mistakes never ever ever take in door plants outside if you cherish your environment, if you don't cherish it you have no business growing.

Yeah I moved it inside while I was gone because it was supposed to be pretty cold out for like a week. None of the other plants show any signs of mites or bugs. I mean I do understand it could spread but I really do plan on cutting the rest down this time next weekend. The plant that had the mites was pretty covered. Definitely noticeable just by looking at the leaves.

It would be a good idea to bomb your grow room after you harvest. Were the "mites" damaging your plant (eating leaves etc.). You could always introduce some carnivores into your grow room.
My favorite one is https://www.rollitup.org/general-marijuana-growing/310069-praying-mantis-pest-control.html but there are other alternatives out there. I would be worried about packing cones of mite eggs but each to their own I guess. Tell us what they taste like, my first guess would be zesty chicken too. Making hash would be a good idea though.

They will lay eggs where ever they can, i hope they dont & you get off lucky, but i've always seen the opposite.Once they are in its war. A 4 week period of cold & dark is a good start. This should break their cycle, these bastards can lay a couple of dozen eggs before they have to feed. Then Nuke everything & everywhere & then nuke again.Sterilize it as best u can bleach is good but go in harder if you can, peroxide is good diluted.
If you grow in a tent they will crawl in to the stitching & hide there & lay eggs. It's fucking murder m8. No one but me goes into my grow room & even then in the summer months i change shoes & put on a hat & overalls that never leave the room my room is in. Yeah i know geeky but it works, touch wood! You got to keep your in-door enviroment as perfect as possible both summer & winter, any grower worth his salt will tell you that environment is as important as the strain you are growing.
