Harvest/Dry/Cure

I pulled my plant yesterday. I put it in a ventilated attic.

I then, a few hours later, felt the buds they felt a bit sticky, sort of dry, but could tell there was still moisture in the buds.

I would say my harvest will be somewhere around a 3.5 1/8 to a possible 4-5 grams.

Anyway, I cut each bud off of the stalk at night time, and left a little bit of the stem on the bottom (for brittle snap checking)

Then, sometime around before 12-1 A.M., I laid these buds with SOME of the leaves on them, took major fan leaves off, and kept flipping them over every once in awhile... Then before I went to bed I put it in a jar that has a small hole in the cap...

When I woke up this morning, the buds seems about the same dryness maybe a bit dryer, but I could see h20 residue on the inside sides of the container.. So, I took the buds out and put them in a paper lunch bag, sealed the top, and put the top underneath a guitar amp handle that is on the side of the speaker, and clamped it down on it...

HOW MANY DAYS SHOULD I KEEP THESE BUDS IN THE LUNCH BAG?
DID I DO ANYTHING WRONG? AND ON THAT NOTE, ANYTHING RIGHT HERE?
Also, after I dry them in the paper lunch bag, how long shall I cure the buds in the jar? Should I keep the hole open on the cap, or should I duct tape, or put a sticker over top of it?

Thanks, as this is REALLY good bud, and my first REAL time ever curing a harvest!!! :weed:

Once they feel somewhat dry put um in airtight mason jars.
Leave the tops of the mason jars off for about an hour everyday until they dried to your liking.
you can also add orange peils to the jar for added moisture.

ok.. what I did was put one orange peel sealed up with the buds in the lunch bag, which i will give air to it throughout the day, all while I have orange peel in the air-tight container, sitting there, waiting for when i put the dry buds in...

Also, nodody told me if the jar is supposed to be 100% airtight, or not, because my jar as a small (carb) looking hole on the top center of the lip?!!

also, i pulled the plants YESTERDAY, so by today you think the buds are dry enough to start curing? its got that sticky icky feel to it, if you squeeze the buds lightly, you don't even feel moisture run out...

HELP!

Put them in an airtight mason jar and put it in the fridge. Check it every 3 hours for sweat on the inside of the jar. If it doesn't sweat after 24 hrs its dry. Take right to the freezer for as long as you can. Thats when you want to put in some orange peel. Let it chill for a few months and you got some impressive shit.

No, they are not. Hang them up, or put in front of a fan. It takes at least a couple of days for them to be dry enough to cure unless you did some sort of heat drying. If you try to cure them when they are still wet you will get mold.

i read the other day that u dry for a week then when curing u put in an air tight jar for no more than 12 hours.. AFter 10-12 hours u open the jar lay the buds out on a table or somewhere from 1-3 hours then repeat the jar process.. NEVER LEAVE THE BUDS IN THE JAR MORE THAN 12 HOURS OR MOLD WILL OCCUR. U can repeat this process for 2-5 days.. Hope this helps

I really don't think theres much point in curing that small amount of green, it's probably dry already.
What did you harvest, a marijuana bonsi?

You really need help with growing if that's your harvest.
