Harvesting early

2-3 weeks away from ideal harvestingtime but might have to cull these now for reasons beyond my control.
Other than the eventual yield what are the other draw backsto chopping now? Will this still be adecent smoke or will it taste like grass you get on a field etc.?

If it smells right now then your bag smell and taste should be alright after a bit of curing, it might be slightly less potent and less dense too. But I've taken cuttings from my plant for testing all along the way and usually once you get like 2/3 of the way through it'll be a decent smoke but it's worth it to wait if it isn't risky for you to continue.

2-3 weeks and the high can be substantially reduced in some strains. Usually since you werent probably able to flush the plants it will affect the taste. This can be offset by letting it cure longer sometimes. It somewhat depends on the strain but ya I would get ready for it to suck. Then if it doesnt suck your pleasantly surprised.

Even with the variances in different strains, the high will be shorter and there will be less of a body buzz. I've smoked bud from weeks 4-9. That 4 week shit was trippy. ZeropointZero body buzz. A very racy head high. And the high was very short.30 mins to hour. Little tapering. I learned quick to avoid picking that early.
