Hash Plant Grow

So, starting my 2nd grow somewhere in the middle east, where it's definitely illegal to even remotely think of such things, lol. (1st one was 6 years ago. Link: Super Silver Haze - CFL Grow)

Anyways long story short, a friend of a friend of a friend.... ordered some "Hash Plant" seeds. So.. after losing 3 of the 4 seeds to a very unfortunate vacuum incident. We now have all our hopes on this 1 survivor. And must say, so far so good.

I intend to do this grow outdoors, as it's too risky indoors with family and guests and what not. The only issue is, where I live... the temperatures are dry, and fluctuate between 38 - 48 Celsius. And so... that is really the true test here.

I've been doing some reading, and apparently the hash plant strain can deal with the heat, provided that it is being watered at regularly monitored intervals.

So I will definitely need all the advice I can get from our wonderful rollitup family. You guys have always been there, and everything I know, is thanks to this family. Leeeetss do this!

So without further a-due, here is 4 Days into the grow. (Started March 16th, 2016)

Hey guys, just curious if anyone has any advice on how to deal with dust when growing outdoors?

I was considering building a portable greenhouse container sort of thing, with permeable plastic of some sort.

Open to suggestions

Your going to get dust/Dirt on your plants outdoors not much you can do, id think.

Even in a green house you need to be pulling in fresh air so unless you have a filter on your intake and fans on either side to make sure One is pulling in air and one is blowing out. There will be dust the there too.

If it was me and I was growing outdoors where it is absolutly illegal, the least of my worries would be dust

If you do it outdoors you'll be alright.

Where in the ME are ya? I'm a guessing SA or Iraq!!

Don't they cut a body part off over there . Think I'd probably have to move or roll around in the floor like a slug if I lived over there . They'd have chopped me to pieces by now .

Thanks.. you definitely bring up some good points. So let's say it does get some dust on it... what's worst case scenario?

Also the property is enclosed and gated, big walls... privacy is a big thing here. So unless people talk, or the smell gets out... should be fine.

But what about the smell? it's going to stink sooner or later and indoors you can completely mask the scent with a carbon filter.

I hear you completely... indoors is really worst case. I'm going to play it by ear and see how bad the smell gets. Definitely can't be taking that risk.

It is a little long. But pretty normal as well. Looks like you can add a little more soil which will help.

outdoors dangerous, indoors dangerous
you trade off with the dangers, and sounds like there are plenty
not too much advice since i'm an indoor grower
but if you do go to the great outdoors, beware the path
a regular route will be a risk, try to vary it as much as possible
and have some justification, bird watching, scorpion wrestling, whatever
best of luck and stay safe

Sorry man when it comes to a grow that could cause those types of consequences I'll not offer any advice to relieve myself if any responsibility, except not to do it .

Aww cmon I wouldn'tve mentioned my circumstances had I known this would be the result. I would genuinely appreciate any wisdom you can share on growing outdoors. Regardless of where or how I'm doing it. I've lived here the majority of my life, I have a hundred and one contingency plans in the back of my head. So relax, hit a bowl, and she'd some light

That's the point man, keeping your head lol. But ok, first your gonna keep it close I take it, like your yard so watering should not be an issue. You could set it up using light deprivation so it's done quicker or go with an auto. Pick one that has minimal odour, you'll need to research that one, all mine stink except the DR Greenthumb Oh Zone I've got going now which has minimal odour. Is hash not available there cheap?

Start with your soil if you want the likelihood of your outdoor plants to succeed you. Put together some awesome soil. I like the idea of keeping things organic so I have Black Kow bagged cow manure, blood&bone meal, and a biobizz bottled nutrient line to work with into my plant's soil;
but I'm newbing it out and taking things real slow going into a small personal grow schedule that will suit me as it's decriminalized here because frankly I like the state, so I've yet to dig into the many adventures of experimenting with the perfect organic soil and I want to do that.

Next thing you want to make your biggest catch is pest control. In my area my biggest pest is bugs called rollie pollies, otherwise known as the pill bug. I regularly drop diatomaceous earth onto the ground, and hit my stock with neem.

Yeah, a really low odour strain would be the best, something with a low flowering time as well. You should also plant a shit ton of other plants as well (if you're going to grow in your back yard) That way you always have an excuse to water, inspect etc. and the foliage will help mask the cannabis.
