Healthcare

What are you willing to give in order to get healthcare? Is it a percentage of your income or maybe a flat payment every month? I think free healthcare would be a good thing, and i believe it could be done without raiseing taxes. I think the money could be found in the waste of our current goverment.

All I want is the freedom to buy it or not. Forcing me to buy into something I don't want to is not freedom to me. Not to mention, I don't trust the government knowing everything about my healthiness, unhealthiness, or anything inbetween. Consolidation of power is a tool only big government and facists like, as it makes it easier to control everything. Any freedom loving American should fear tactics like these.

Free marijuana could be paid for from government waste too. or free gasoline. Or free TVs and computers.

Your understanding of the word "free" is a bit skewed. In the context you use, you should substitute "forced healthcare" for "free healthcare". It would be more honest.

If the money is coming from taxes, then it isn't free.

If people are not free, to reject or accept their own personal participation, then WE are not free.

I'm willing to permit others the freedom to cooperate amongst themselves to purchase healthcare as long the same people are willing to allow me the option of choosing to participate or not. That is the meaning of the word "free".
