Heated tincture too long...

I was making some alcohol tincture with 151 rum. I let it sit for 3 days and then began to heat it. The problem is I heated it for too long and now im stuck with some black hash at the bottom of a jar. I smoked some and it still has its full potency, if not more-so. Should I add more alcohol and let it sit for another three days? or should I just smoke the hash and call it a day...

any oil ive ever majorly over cooked or forgot in the oven was completely fucked by the time I got to it... makes ya wonder.. where the hell does all the good shit go?

if its not broke, why fix it?

Three days is already a long time to soak, and 151 proof has a lot of water in it. You will not improve it by soaking longer.

you can rehydrate it to make it back into a tincture, sure as long as it doesnt burn you are good.
