Hello everyone! I am currently on my fourth indoor grow. I have grown outdoors in New England for seven seasons but only indoor for a year. This is also my fourth time growing FV. So far the first one produced below average results on my part. The second did well but still had a low yield, due to me underestimating pot size. The third for some reason began full on flowering within two weeks and finished in 7 weeks with less than 3 grams on it i believe to due to it not taking transplant. And the fourth now is fifty four days from sprout and has not produced anything more than tiny preflowers and a few pistils. Its still growing about a half inch a day. My question is why would this happen? And as ive read an autoflower flowers by age and since they die at the end of their cycle, does it have a max time it will stay alive like a certain amount of days or will it only die after it flowers? I grow in a 2x2x6 tent with 200 actual watts of cfl and a 300 watt mixed spectrum led. 3 gallon pots 18/6 light schedule 190cfm variable fan for vent and a box fan for circulation. I use roots organic soil fox farms nutrients as well as a cal mag supplement when necessary . also in the tent in an incredible bulk, white widow big bud cross, and a revegging WOS strawberry blue. They are all perfectly healthy including the fast and vast Any suggestions as to why it isnt flowering and if it will live past 100 or so days if its still flowering would be great !thanks and happy growing everyone!

Set the lights to stay on for only 12 hours - That needs to happen to trigger the flowering process to begin. Keeping them at 18 hours of light prevents them from going into flowering.

Hi thanks for replying! I understand this is the case for photoperiods but this is an autoflowering strain so it should flower in any light schedule, and the other three ive grown flowered in 18 6 with no change in light .wondering why this one is different, and what the actual life span of a typical autoflower as if its stunted will it live long enough to produce buds or does it die afyer a pre determined amount of time?

Your thinking of photos. Some autos just take longer i had one of my fast and vast not flower until yesterday (day 66) and im trimming my other 4 tomorrow. Try low light or light bloom feeding

Plants dont just explode one day. It will grow and grow strong until the day she decides she wants to flower. Then shell flower hard till shes done. Fast and vast is a good strain

Thank you for the info! Its good to hear from someones who has grown the strain as theres only a few grow journals for it. Guess ill just hang tight and wait for the flowering to start, happy growing!

Thanks for sharing your girls look amazing! The other three i had were similar at 54 days( not in bud size but time of flowering stage) however this one i just got to start flowering at day 62 roughly i had to force flower by lowering the light schedule by an hour a day until i did three days of 14 hours and it finally started lol. I will say though this plant is incredibly healthier than the others I have done of the same strain so im not too worried about it finishing now
