height of my grow box?

ok...so i built myself a grow box. its 4' wide x 2' deep the height is what i have a question about. I saw on some other threads that people are tying down their babies to keep the height down. thats what i need to do. is it possible to successfully grow with only 2' of height??? i was thinkin maybe i could fit 3 or 4 ladies in there

I am currently working with 4 feet of height and I already feel like that is the minimum. What is the max height you can go?

sure i only have 24 inches of height
you need to prune your plants, you should not have to tie down anything
if you prune, and you give them some 6500K light in the Veg cycle.
Root pruning works good to to keep your height down.
when your plants are young like they have 5 true sets of leafs you cut
half your leafs off, you stunt the plant and it grows short, most do some still grow like crazy (sativa). Thats why it's nic eot have some Indica for these small space grows.

cool...i think that might be a little outta my league at the moment. i heard that topping and tying down might be a tad easier since this is only my first time.

MC makes a Perlite mix i was wondering if anyone knows any more about it. I mean its pretty cut and and dry and ive read that perlite makes a good medium with vermiculite but my question is...is the perlite mix by itself a good medium???

I've heard of people growing just in pearlite, with an airstone at the bottom. its basicly hydroponic.

right, but can it be used alone for a set-up thats not hydro?
