right now i dont have any over 2ft tall at the moment and most of them probably only have 3 weeks or so left so i know i wont be able to make a differnce on this round but for future notice, i was wondering what has to be done to get them between say 4-5 ft. my set up is a 600HPS, soil garden, not for sure what size buckets they are but im pretty positive they are big enough.

veg until they are 2-2.5ft tall and then flower... they about double during flowering... so a 2ft tall plant ends up about 4ft tall... thats about the best way to judge final height... prune your plants (top, pinch, FIM, LST, ect) to keep them around the same height as the other plants and maintain a fairly even canopy the whole grow... only prune during veg tho... do some reading between now and your next grow on the different techniques...

good luck on the next grow.. hope this helped...

height of the plant will vary depending on whether its an indica, or a sativa. these are regular, full sized plants i assume? not auto dwarfs? if they are just normal plants, you need to keep them in veg. cycle longer(24hours of light). when you want them to flower, you kick lights on to a 12/12 pattern. when you flower the plant, she'll grow a little more, then focus her energy on producing buds. to get your plants to the height you desire, leave them in vegitative cycle longer, until they are just short of height you want, kick them into flowering, and they'll end up being close to your overall desired height. what seed strain are you using?
