Those of you that know me, know of the troubles i've been having lately... Today was (optimistically) a turning point in this rut i've been in for too long now. I FINALLY got to the doctor, (after over 3mos of runaround and bullshit from LA dept of "mental health and human services":finger:), and was able to get on some meds which will hopefully make a positive change in my quality of life, and ability of life.....

then when we got home, I had a message from the college, stating that the board has accepted me after further review, and I go to freshman orientation in the morning, starting college officially Tuesday... as a horticulture major:clap:

I'm fucking happy and excited as hell!:-P Just wanted to share:hug:

Dude, that's fuckin awesome. In a few years you'll be making money doing what you love! Couldn't ask for a better way to make a living.

nothing else except for the core curriculum you have to take in college (math, englishes, etc).... getting all of those out of the way first, and then its all career related learning.

sorry i havent responded guys, new meds made me sleeepy, and i just woke up..... just trying to stay awake long enough to check on the plants and go back to bed:bigjoint:

thanks for the replies, it has been long overdue for things to start looking up over here

doin good on that one so far.... tonight is the first night in awhile that we are NOT having a hard freeze, and tomorrow night it looks like we are back to a normal louisiana winter.... fuck this subzero bullshit we been having down here... its fucked us all up:-(

you got it bro:bigjoint:.... but I actually plan to get out there this year if possible..... gonna try to slam out some awesome grades this semester to help facilitate my transfer to another school, and saving some cash as well.... hopefully moving in the summer.... time will tell though

Awesome. I can't really think of anything better to do with it, that's for damn sure. And I'm with you on this cold weather in the south bullshit. Makes the west seem even better.

shit, thats right...you been dealing with this crap too:cuss:.... I have more cracked/burst pipes to help out with in my family than i care to think about at the moment.... I have NEVER seen temps as low as 13degrees here in my life.... much less over a week of weather like that.... I hope it is gone for a good while
