I am new to this but without getting into details I have a question...if you have root rot on fairly new plants I'll say 2 weeks old 4 inches tall can you do away with the roots altogether apply some root tech cloning gel the proper nutrients and go from there.....

HYDROPONICS
Now I have addressed all other elements that caused the problem and have sm-90 ..it is my understanding that once it's there is hard to get rid of as of now there are new roots but the old roots seem beyond repair and as if there presence alone poses the threat so cut off all roots clean and sterilize all new cubes, rocks the works with the young ones as clones......right......no?

Try small amount of hydrogen peroxide in the res. Then change your res solution. Begin at a lower ppm than when you swapped. Check out UV filters from Amazon or a tropical fish shop.

By the way do go ahead and trim any necrotic plant tissue (rotted or shitty roots) before putting them back into the soup. Add small amounts of hydrogen peroxide with your feeds. Small amounts. It is an oxidizer and will not harm living tissue.

I read that h202 isn't good to use because can create a slime type substance in your res ...mother something out what not is that why you recommended small amounts...and cutting all roots are a bad idea?

His are in need of intervention. I said small amounts of it which cleans a lot of slime then becomes inert. The 90 gallon an hour UV filters work best. You must keep any organic material out of the soup except live roots.
