Help Identify Pest!!

Hi everyone, need some advice on my plants. Girls leafs start yellow , from bottom to top. But then I check for pest.
Found some bugs under my Hugo's.
Does anyone know what it is ?
Don't look like a aphid..

I don't see any bug damage on your plant. The yellowing is a normal part of the end of a plants life. Like the leaves turning colour in the fall. Don't feed it a bunch at this stage and if you feed it anything make it low in N.

Did you take those mite pics or are they just off the web? Mites leave little spots all over the leaves that makes it easy to tell that they are at work. They don't cause leaves to go yellow until they've near killed the plant.

when you lift the rockwool off the tray, you can see a few of them !
Got some clear tape caught a few and use a microscope with camera.
I never had them before , I don't know if they are cause damage to my plants! They must be eating something!
Any ideas?

Spider mites alright. I'm amazed you don't have them all over the plant but maybe they just moved in recently.

They don't feed on the roots like fungus gnats and they don't actually live in the root zone unless the adults fall down into the soil and lay their eggs there which isn't their preferred method. They lay their eggs normally on the undersides of the leaves and live their lives in the canopy. Use your scope to check carefully under the leaves especially ones that have any tiny yellow spots showing on the top side.

Eggs from mites look like large resin glands just sitting on the leaf surface with no stalk like a real resin gland. They are also much larger than most resin glands and yellowish/translucent looking.

A regular magnifying glass is good enough to see if any are there and if you think you've found some then look closer with the scope to make sure.

You don't want to be spraying stuff like neem oil on your plant at this stage or the buds will taste like crap later. Even the Safer's soap will leave a nasty taste.

Mosquito Dunks are halfway decent to get rid of them in the soil or rockwool and won't affect the buds so if they aren't on the plant I'd try that.

Really spidermite ? Never heard of them under the plant, I had them before. Usually you see spoting on the leafs and webs. I just worry it could be something eating my roots..because in the pass I had root aphids, made me think I was having deficiency. Symptoms were very similar to what I have now..

Those pics of the bugs you put up look like spider mite young from other pics I found on the 'net. 8 legs and all but other than fungus gnats I've never had root aphids so I'm not 100% certain.

I'll look up root aphids and see what they look like.

All I can find is some pics that don't look exactly like yours but root aphids have 6 legs and the bugs you show have 8 so they must be spider mites.

Looks like it might be hypoaspis miles. Not sure if they live in hydro systems or not, but in soil they're said to be beneficial.

If that's what they are for sure then it's a good thing SweetVapor as they eat the nasty bugs. You can buy them to fight soil/rockwool dwelling beasties.

Sorry for the late reply. I hope it is just a mite, I will keep a eye on it.
