Hi lovely cannabis enthusiast!
This is my 3rd year growing, my second time growing granddaddy purp, first time growing northern lights!
Girls have been super happy with all the light and occasional rain we’ve been getting up north, but I’ve started to notice these light brown spots on my ladies. They’re almost transparent and on a few of the leaves. Since I found a few little candy cane hoppers on my plant, I decided they were ready for some neem oil.
due to funds, I don’t get too crazy into the nutrients and what not. We’ve had a garden for 30+ years that’s one giant compost pile when we are not gardening. I’ve always had great success planting them in the garden, but this year I wanted to be able to move them around so I put them in 5 gallon grow bags. The soil was soil taken from the garden area, we always put egg, clam shells, fruits, veggies, leaves, flowers, etc. into the garden so that’s normally what the soil consist of.
Anyone have any suggestions for a somewhat still newbie?
ps. When is the best time to start trimming leaves off and how often should I trim them. I definitely got a little too excited last year and trimmed a ton of leave to get more sunlight into the plant once it was larger and I believe I ended up shocking the plant. Any suggestions on that as well? Thank you guys and take a hit for me!
