Help me Break my #1 rule!!!!!!!!

I have never been away from any of my crops for more then 36 hours. Well in about 5 days I am heading to Mexico, and I would like to take some of my Trainwreck with me. This bud is in it's 6th week of flowering. I woould like to take a nice bud with me. Along with some of the Northern lights from my last crop. I have 6 days to dry and cure this bud. Any suggetions on how to do it?? This is the rule I am breaking.. NEVER PICK A BUD BEFORE IT'S TIME.

Oh.. it is not so much the drying.. It is the curing to get the Chloriphile otu as best as possible. I have not been flushing these plants yet. They are at a PPM of about 800 right now though.

you have nearly a week to dry your trainwreck

throw it in a brown paper bag check it regularly when it starts to get dry throw it in an empty plastic container with a screw on top let it sit in there for a few days opening the container for half an hour a day

the paper bag should dry your bud quick which will give it a few days to cure in the container with no mold.

you dont have much time but some people sell weed after only four days of drying its the only thing i can suggest for a quick cure that will taste better then most quick cures

Have you thought about water curing? Or is that way outta line? =P

Yes, I think I understand what you are saying. Not so sure about sticking it in the paper bag right after cutting.. But Hmmm.. the paper of the bag will soak up some moisture, Mybe If I put something else in there also to obsorb moisture. But this is what will lock in the Chloriphil also.

What do you all think about this? I will let it dry in a cool, dark place naturally for 3-4 days. I mean cool, like 60-65 degrees, no air movement. This will help the chloriphil to be released at least some, Then I will place the bud inside a big jar, with a BIG aquarium filter fill with that moisture absorbing material, like they use in Travel trailers and such...... Hmmmmm maybe I am over doing it....

I did take one small popcorn bud and fast dry it over the coling vent for my cumputer monitor. WOW.. Still has a nice hashy taste.. I LIKE!!!!!

Water cure it. Or do a quick steam cure in the microwave. The bud will lose most of it's taste, but won't lose any potency. I'll admit it's a crappy way to treat your bud, but it makes for a quick cure.

cut your bud into smaller pieces and spread them out on newspaper over night in the morning build them into a pile and cover with a piece of plastic wrap when you get home from work in the evening take the plastic off and spread the pieces back out overnight.
repeat this all week long until it is dry enough for your taste.
the buds will dry in about 3 days but 4-5 would be better
i usually do this to some of my harvest to keep me away from the main buds until they are cured

Yes, water curing is not for me. I want the taste. I dried a small bud on the back of my monitor last night. I was very amazed at how good it tasted. This train Wreck is going to be a joy once it is cured correctly. I am only going to quick cure about 7 grams or so.

Overfiend, you ways seems to be a pretty good way, Breaking up the buds will help it to dry faster, but I also think it will help to release the Chloriphyl also. Hmmmm.. I think this will be the route I go. As I said I have 6 days. Hmmmm.. 4 days.. But I did cut a branch yesterday and hung it in my closet. I think tomorrow, I will manicure it and cut it into small chunks as you suggested.
