Help me choose the better light setup. then i can start.

Whats gonna be better in a small closet grow i will have a small fan but temps may still be a issue. It will be for a single plant. Maybe 2.

i was thinking one of these bulbs with a hood reflector. 1 6500k then a 2700 for flower.

Any of those lights would work, but I'm used to cfl lighting so I'm gonna say the first choice. Just make sure other aspects of ur grow are ideal too nutes, temperature, ventilation. U probably know the deal

Well the first one is just a hood....id go with the 150 hps..or look up ballast kits and build your own...

yea i know its a hood. i was showing it as example of what i would pair with the cfl i linked from 1000bulbs.

so the hps setup would be better? could i use it from veg to flower? any idea if i would have a heat battle with it being in a small closet?

if i went cfl would only having that one huge bulb work ?

yes.make it a mh/hps

150 don't get to hot, just vent the air.

I'm using a 400 mh in my closet and my temp don't go past 80f.I have my window open inch, and a fan on my girls.That's it.

the plant will sit in a 6x2 closet but it will be in the corner with the light hung above it. so the plant area is about 2x2 - 3x2 roughly

how much difference will i see between the 105 watt cfl and the hps?
i can build the cfl setup for the price of the bulb but the hps setup will run about 90 shipped

some people are happy growing with cfls..but a hps will kick its butt....
But if money is a factor go cfls and see if you like growing..then you can always upgrade

oh yea. ive looked around. i just hate having so many cfl bulbs. im trying to keep the bulb count low and still produce a good plant
