help with cooling grow room

Hello, I am setting up a hydro/aero sytem in a closet, closet size 2 feet depth and 6 feet length. I am installing a bathroom exhaust fan 200cfm and 1 scone, nearly silent and it is built for continious operation. my initial thought was to run airconditioning duct through the closet but I do not want to comprise the integrity of my air system. So my question is could I insert a fan in the closet door to pull the colder in from the room. Home depot has a six inch fan that is used to pull hot or cold air. it is probably much better and quiter than a computer fan and it comes with a grill that could be painted to help keep in nearly invisible. thought or suggestions greatly appreciated. Oh the system is in a 22 gallon rubbermaid for 4 plants. :joint:

200 cfm should be enough for that space, but what are you going to do about odor?

And yes, I would recommend pulling cool air from the room next to the closet, but make sure you're getting enough airflow. In theory, the negative pressure from the exhaust fan could pull enough fresh air in through the cracks to support your plants, but I try to offset the heat in the growroom by forcing large volumes of fresh air into it with a 140 cfm inline fan.

great, I appreciate the advice. I plan on sooner than later, probably right before flowering to put in a carbon filter to the exhaust fan in the attic to pull the smell. I am using a 2 ft full spectrum flouresent supplemented by 2 27 watts CFL's on each side. using the inline fan which I hear worksthe best, how would it connect to closet door? it seems I would not be able to hide the opening, I guess I could run the ductt work or coil to the door keeping the inline fan in the closet and cover the door with vent cover? Again thanks for the help. I learn through and error on first grow, I lost one plant and the other one has been vegging for about 5 weeks, it is looking faitly sick with hardly any root system. I determined very recently I over nute and had a PH problem. I got it all figured out and bought TDS checker and PH kit.
