Help With Grow Cabinet

I've been interested in grow marijuana for a while now, and I've lurked around for almost a year. I've tried to grow twice before this, and both times my plants died in the seedling stage, but this time I'm going to do the smart thing; ask for help.

I plan on constructing a grow cabinet with this
cabinet as my jumping off point. The cabinet measures approximately 25-3/4" L x 19" W x 69-1/2" H. It has 4 adjustable and removable shelves.

I still don't know what kind of light to use, but I wish to grow 2 or 3 plants, if I have the space for it. I also need someone to converse with me and to co-design my cabinet with me, as well as teach me what fans to use and where to put them.

I may need help with a dwc, but if i cant find anybody who can help i'll settle for soil.

Oh Yeah, and to keep in touch with me throughout the grow, even though I'll keep a grow Journal.

ok so your cab is only two feet in length and less then one foot in width? thats pretty tight i wouldnt try and put more then two plants in there......If you had the room id make the cab a little bigger just makes things easyer i mean if you have the room..... Where are you growing? is it inside? garadge? how much do you want to yield? how much do you have to spend? are you growing from clone or seed? can you get clones? what state are you in? clones are noob friendly....seeds are not......give some info ill be happy to help ya get throught it......

It's a Pre-Constucted Cabinet, which is why I'm Using it. It's inside in my bedroom, and i'm growing from bagseed in michigan. I wish to yield about a quarter pound every three months. Since you said that shelf might be a little tight do you think one sized at: Assembled size: 2'6'' W x 1'8'' L x 6' H, would do better for 3 or 4 plants?

Oh and also depending on how well my first plants grow in the cabinet, i may buy and construct another one just for vegging, and turn this one into flowering. My limit on cash is undecided right now, but if it's over $200 I'll have to buy in parts as I set up my grow.

So can you help me with: What kind of lights to use, what fans, how to design, keep me updated with information,

i doubt you get a QP from that small of a cab and this being your first grow.......I would get the bigger cab it just makes things easyer to deal with and you will have more room for your plants........ before you go buying lights you should figure out where your going to exhaust your air too..... once you figure that out then you can move fowared.......do you have an attic? can you cut a hole in your ceiling to exhaust the hot air into your attic or even better would be into your attic then outside...or just outside whatever is easyest but dont just exhaust your air back into the room the cab is in..... Also if you have a big enough exhaust fan it will create negative pressure and you wont need and intake fan saving you more money.........Dont get a bathroom fan unless thats the only thing you can afford and if you do get a bathroom fan you cant get any light bigger then a 250w or it will heat up that little cab really fast.......I would get a 4" inline fan atleast if not bigger ...... This fan can be in the tent outside the tent it can be in the attic theres lots of way to mount it hang it prop it........the main thing is that your sucking all the air from your cap into a ducting system them exhausted someplace else......once you deiced how munch air you can produce then you can worry about how much light will work with what kinda fan you have...........
