I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice at getting germed seeds to produce plants 100% of the time. I planted 6 germed seeds and only 2 plants came up I am useing 2 30watt CFLS any suggestions?
Thanx:joint:

Light doesnt matter so much on germination. You will rarely have all the seeds sprout. Usually out of 10 seeds, six or eight will sprout and half will be males. Best way i found in the FAQ section was to have a plate with a wet towel on top and a wet towel on bottom and the seeds in the middle. You dont really need a light at all because the plant isnt using photosynthesis until it sprouts and there are the 2 leaf head leaves. You just want something warm to put the plate on. (cable box, computer hard drive)

I Was actually talking about once there in the soil and breaking soil to get first leafs. But thanks for the suggestion with the seeds I moved my other ones and they are going alot quicker just in a few hours:mrgreen:

Oh, after they germinate and start the seedling phase, its all about light. Get a few more CFLs and start a long cycle of light. I have mine going 24/0 hours. I just picked up daylight CFLs and they are a huge difference.
