Yes those are the same as hydrotron. Marketing name is the only dif. Yes, you cn use coco instead of rock wool. I don't but many do. PH up and down at the fish store should work just fine. You'll probably spend more then you would on time or even a hydrostore but that is up to you. Good growing!
