BUMP . could use some more opinions. Been reading up on general hydroponics flora - series. Im tired of advanced nutrients. my current grow has 2 plants with nute - burnt leaves and its driving me nuts. i gotta do something about this. this is my second grow with Advanced Nutes and both times have had problems with nute burn.

GH Flora series is cheap, available everywhere, and super easy to use......start at half of what their feeding schedule calls for and slowly work your way up to see what your plants can handle. I've used it in the past with great results, their Koolbloom ripener/boosters are great too and cheap compared to AN stuff. If you want to go even cheaper and easier, their powdered Maxi series is stupid cheap. A $23 pouch lasted me forever.

I've been using dyna grow. If you search this site there is a guy named homebrewer I believe it is. He has a very long detailed journal. He compares the both of them in a side by side. I found it before I got started. So it's the first and only nutes I've bought. It provided me with a great deal of info and after 2.5 years of using I've found everything he documented to be true with my results.

i think i will try the flora series after all of my advanced nutrients nutes are gone simply out of wide usage, good reviews / results, very popular, and stupid cheap. it will cut my nutrient bills in 1/3 when i go to the grow shop. AN is getting more and more pricey everytime i go down to the hydro store. its getting ridiculous i cant afford to pay that much for nutrients that are burning my plants either. i have heard good things about dyna grow and alot of farmers around here use it but im not convinced yet. Seems like flora series is where its at. I may experiment using the Flora Series and combine it with one line from AN that i have come to love and that is Bud Blood. I get the Bud Blood 0-39-25 powder, ive used it with fox farm before. its worth a try to see the results when mixed with a flora series nute regiment. im not afraid to experiment, bud blood is a first week of flowering only nute and it doubles the intensity of root structure and triples the size of your stalk and nodes, its retarded how well it works. I think my biggest issue was introducing drip clean to my plants late into veg cycle and may have over done it a bit but it doesnt matter my mind is made up and flora series will almost guaranteed be the next cycle of nutes i use.
