Do I need to worry about high PH while my plans are not receiving nutes yet? For instance my plans are just a few weeks old and I haven't added any nutes (well I did one day but then I flushed the system because I realized it was too early), my plants have been looking sickly so I checked the ph and it was like 7.9! So I added some pH down to get it back to about 6.0, I was just wondering if I need to even worry about pH before I add nutes?
I'm sure it might be some crap in my tap water? My PPM is like 300 (EC) which is pretty high for tap u think?
Let me know if this could be causing my issue, I look at a lot of pics and most people plans look way better then mine.
Sorry I forgot to add this is a hydro grow in hydroton and Ebb and Flow.
