I just got a meter on ebay for 115 bucks new. I have a 72 cubic foot cabinet grow. I have one bottle that is 1.5 gallons. there is 5 tablesppons of yeast and 5 cups of sugar currently putting out 1000 ppm. about 500 outside the cabinet

the yeast i got is 2 pounds on ebay for 13 bucks. sugar is 5.50 for ten pounds at walmart. seems about enough yeast for two grows. not bad! gonna pump it up to 1500ppm in a week i think coming up on a month of flowering

Awesome! Nice to see some results for the DIY'er. Please post on other CO2 threads so people can see they can produce enough CO2 to make a difference.

Yes plz post pix of your setup, mine is a tiny air pump with stone in a gallon jug with a mixture of yeast/sugar/baking soda for smell and addt. co2 with 'vinegarization.' This air tight package pushes air into the back of an oscilating fan. I measure 600ppm avg. and twice that when I shake it everyday for about an hour after that. What are you doing right, or what is it you aren't telling us? I mend the mix every week to keep it up, but after a month it's ferts for my compost.
