Honenst, experienced and dependable grower seeks patients.

Hey there,
I am looking for a couple down to earth and dependable patients for my expanded grow situation. I'm a very experienced grower, I'm fair and I'm honest. I'm not some 22yo douche bag or scum wad that tries to short his patients. My current patients and I have a great relationship and I can provide references. I'm a family guy and own my own my own business so I'm pretty busy and not one to hang out a bunch and shoot the shit until we establish some trust. But I can tell you that I am thank full for my patients and they ALWAYS get the best buds of the harvest.

I'm in the Portland area but can work it out if your not too far. I typically only see my patients once every month at the most, so its not a big deal to travel.

Bonus points for those over 30, educated professionals, or those with a healthy and respectful view of the whole patient-grower relationship.

I have had my card since October after moving here from Missouri in August. My meds have been from collectives, so the quality can vary. I prefer organic-soil meds. I have found that they taste better and are more "complete" medically.

I am a father, have a job that requires a Master's degree, and keep a journal about how different strains medically impact my body and mind so I can most effectively self-treat. Hopefully that reveals enough about me to determine if I might b a suitable candidate? I do have questions about how the grower-patient relationship works.

Hey Mo2, sounds like we may be a good fit. I am not a soil grower however but I will give you some buds and you can take the "pepsi challange" so to speak. Done right, my friends can not tell the difference between soil and hydro. They think they can, but when I give them buds and ask them to tell me which one it is..they almost always get it wrong.

I'm open to growing different strains but not a plethora of different strains.. like at the same time. Well, perhaps I could just grow your plants in soil and jsut adjust for different growth times. As a hydro guy, its tough to run tons of different strains at the same time as your feeding them all the same nutrients.

In terms of the patient-grower relationship, I think the biggest thing for me is respect. There are MANY patients that have this gimme gimme gimme attitude and at the same time they don't want to pay anything. It comes as no surprise then, that these types of patients typlically get picked up by a grower nobody wants and is out to take advantage of their pateints. Yes, with your 6 plants, I will likely harvest 10X as much cured bud as you will get, and yes, that goes to market to pay for all the operating expenses AND my time... despite what the law says. I take good care of my plants and good care of my patients but growing good plants is ALLOT of work. A LOT of fucking work. Its almost ridiculous at harvest time.

I hope I am not rambling to much. Bacially, my take on the whole thing is my patients allow me to grow more plants and make moe money. That is very important for me and I compensate them as such. I ALWAYS give my patients the best of each crop. I have seen other growers sling the schwag bud to their patients and that is just a super shitty thing to do.

I think that the majority of growers give around 1 ounce per month free and clear and then any extra meds they need they can give out for a nominal fee. Some go 2 ounces. I have that relationship with one patient and I have a patient that used to grow and she insists on giving my $100 for every ounce as she knows how much work it can be.

My own grow experience is w hydro so I am open if the meds good. I'm probably getting mostly hydro anyway right now. Also, I APPRECIATE the time, care, and effort it takes to cultivate good cannabis. Let me get my count up!
