Honest beginner mistake

So I bought my gorilla glue #4 at a popular dispensary here in oakland and it was in its early stage inside a lil cubed soil matter.. Btw for beginners it hard to understand all the lingo so if anyone can properly break it down that would be great. Anyway, I buy it because the bud tender added this strain would be good for a beginner grower. She also says that it has a 60 day harvest time. I bought two of the plants maybe may 14-15 I since then have moved it from its store boughten container and soil and bought organic soil and maybe two 1 gallon pots. I transplanted them into its gallon plastic pots and I've been watering once almost everyday and now over 60 days later one of the plants have started the end phase of flowering meaning I can now take a bud off. Dry it and smoke it.. It's really crystally but I've diffently seen the more frosty pictures here on these forums. This particular plant has grow very vertical;straight up... Not bushy. I didn't do enough research to know the things to do in the beginning stages. I didn't get to top it.. Forgot to transplant into a bigger pot.. Or not fully knowable about the outcome because of the room of the roots needed. The second plant after the 60 day regular time for harvest. Has just about 2 week visible sign of flower buds developing. But it has to main branches almost meaning not just on main branch with buds on the side. Can I transplant these now? And can I top either one of them? I heard something about tying down some part of the plant with some form of rope like material. Think my first plant is ready for harvest? The close up of the first plants cola or top is a few weeks old. More frost the distant pictures are from today

I'm surprised that they are flowering. Not sure what part of the world you are in though.
Finish them out and next time put them outside when days are long. When days shorten they will flower. You could/should top a few times or tie down the main stem to increase side shoot growth. All in all it's not been a bad experiment and you score some bud.

I am new to this too but i read for over a month before i do anything lol So there's a few things I may be able to help with. First off the plant in pic 2 looks like it has been topped that's why it has 2 colas, they need bigger pots,, mine are over 2 feet tall in 2 quart size pots I will be transplanting into 5 gal buckets soon bigger the pot bigger the plant also I only water when it is completely dry an inch down or the leaves just start to droop and I imagine some nutrients would help too and regardless of what the lady said it would leave it in veg till its a nice size
I hope you keep at it and get amazing yields next time =)

They are at the final stages of life and transplanting, tying, topping, ANYTHING...is pointless at this time. All you will do is create stress on the plants and accomplish nothing.

Good job on growing them out and next time when your plants are in the vegging stage of life you can maximize yield by applying different techniques. Read up now so you are ready when you need to be next go around.

Again, congratulations.

My guess is those were auto-flowering strains which is why they are finishing so fast. Shouldn't be flowering like that in Oakland. Don't mess with em as in transplanting, topping, tying just as old school said. Definitely good job. Get a jewelers loop and learn to look at the trichomes, they'll tell you when to harvest. Do your research about drying and curing or you'll end up with crappy tasting/smelling weed.
