How do I Acclimate from Flourescent to HPS?

Hi everybody,

My new 400W HPS is up and running in the closet, I had the plants in there about 7 hours yesterday.. & got worried I might be stressing them, so I put them back under their regular light, cheapy flourescent tubes from walmart. These are rooted clones, cut mid Sept.

What is a good schedule to use to acclimate them, and how long to run the bulb at a time w/o damaging it? I read somewhere they don't like to be turned on and off excessively.

just throw them under the hps bulbs and leave them there... i start off under cfl's as well with my seedlings, and move them right to the hps / mh's and don't have any issues..
just make sure that you keep the hps high enough so that they don't burn your girls..
