My cab (in my closet) is topping at 95 degrees! I opened a window and the temps are dropping now but whats the max it can reach before it is equivalent to leaving you pet in the car in the summer time with the windows up (a NO-NO)? I'm going to be leaving it on 24/0 til they start giving me sprout love, so I really need to keep an eye on temps.

Yea Ideal is around 70-75 and at night 65-70 try exhausting your light heat outside.. What lights are you using that would make it that hot, what state are you in?

Ouch. Add ice water. Or something. Anything to cool your sauna down. Keep it at 70-75. Never higher then 80. Your molesting your plants with all that heat mate. Get some oscilating fans and maybe even a swamp cooler.

ive been around 80--84 my entire grow and ill say its way to hot.. stunted my plants a few times i have it in my furnace room.. worste place ever blowing fumes everywhere..

for some reason temps are down to 70-75 now though since its getting cold out.. or else from losing 6 of the cfls and just going 400 hps.

plants are looking really healthy

well I dunno

when growing outside, temps outside exceed 120 F in the sun, and plants don't seem to mind at all

this summer it was 104 in the shadow, cannot even imagine what kind of temps are in the sun, once I put a thermometer and it broke, it was about 150 degree F max, and it broke, the mercury broke the glass ...

at home my temps are ranging from 60 to 92, and I never noticed my plants having problems with temps - they grow like there is no tomorrow

Check'd this morning and my max temp was 95. Some rocket scientist turned on the heat this morning cause she was "cold". That really sucked! The seedling that popped up had a dense stem now the fucker is shrivled. Shes gone, huh? I feel the same way as ddriver, summer time it gets hot as balls if you grow out doors, but when you grow in doors, the shit dies if it is above 85 degrees. the weak ass 4" duct fan was not strong enough to blow the heat through my cool tube (400w HPS) so I replaced it with a strobger PC fan. I have another PC fan sucking the air out of the cab. This shit sux!

My room is always 80-90 degrees around the tops of my plants it hits the mid 70's lower on the plant but the tops always that hot. I dont have any major problems. That is in my flower room though yours sounds like it is in the veg room if you have plants drying out and dying like that. They won't dry out if you keep them moist but at that temp keeping them moist probably akes 4-5 spray downs a day.

yeah you need to either gain some humidity or lose some heat.I just checked right now I'm at 83 and 10% humidity. My heat is down now that it is winter but it is always fight man. You fix one thing and ten others go wrong as fuck.

You'd think after months of reading the bible and combing through these threads, it'll be a breeze. NOT! lol But I think what I'll do is go get some CFL's to veg with to keep heat down. What CFL's should I get though? Definitely DAYLIGHT ones I figure but what wattage? Should I get one big CFL or should I get many of the smaller ones with high wattage?
