how long should i have my fan on?

Im growing two Sour D clones in a tin shed in my backyard with some 6700K cfls....they were taken from a flowering mother (maybe two weeks in tops) and have been revegging since Tuesday 12/4....i also have a small fan that i let go on low, just enough for the plant to move under the wind of it and strengthen up....the temps get as low as 45° F at night and 75° most of the day...i keep the cfls close for a lil warmth...

My question is two fold..

Is that to cold for the 6 hour "night" cycle and if so how can i warm it up without raising humidity?

How long should i have the fan on to get strong stems? Im not worried about it being hot i just want the stems to strengthen

Thanls guys, any tips are appreciated... this is my first winter cfl grow, im usually outdoors!

Are you are planning on growing in that shed? I would personally reorganize that space and clean it up good, and seal any gaps for starters. The daytime temps look good, but the nighttime temps worry me a bit, I'd be more comfortable with them at least in the 60's. Until that shed was scrubbed I'd be too worried about mites and other little weird critters :/

The plants look pretty darn good so far, just thought I'd give ya the two-cents :) Have fun!

leave the fan and lights on. 24 on is better for cloning.

Npte taken on the fan...dont my girls need an off cycle tho to rest? They're already rooted clones...just askin if not im down for a 24 cycle...thanks man

thanks bro, im def having fun! And yea im gonna reorganize and clean that space unless i can flower em outside... depends on so cal weather.... i just got em last week and im gonna reorganize the whole shed and clean it when i get some time

And im worried about night time temps too, leaving the lights on 24 hrs will provide some heat correct?

i have my fan and light on seperate timers.Light for the specified light cycle and the fan comes on and goes off on half hour cycles all day .Important to keep airflow going to prevent the chance of budrot..to strenghten the stems though ,yeh just on and off ,maybe not even as often as every half hour... to replicate nature you need to keep it going , theres usualy always a breeze from some direction outdoors.

Heres an update on my girls. Today is day 5 of the reveg attempt on these SourD clones and they are beginning to throw out single bladed leaves which i hear is a good sign, or normal sign, for revegging?

I also surrounded the girls with aluminum food trays to maximize light and to retain as much heat as possible until i transplant them and buy more lights...its 5pm and my rh meter reads 63° and 57%rh....looking good to me, tips welcome!

I have my Fans on a timer. Lights On, Fan On. Lights Off, Fan Off.
Works for me.

Sounds good guys, my lights are on a timer too so i hooked up my fan on the same circuit, trying to imitate nature as much as possible so the fans will come on when the lights do

there is no problem running 24 hours on for fan and lights. i do in my veg room and i have a bunch going. add more lights and it will help temp issue and promote growth. you will need to figure out someting for when you flower.

looking good man

Thanks G ill keep u updated

Sounds good imma try 24hr cycle and add 2-3 more lights for now... imma keep one as a mother for my spring grow and throw the other one outside to flower once i get her big enough and see what happens...this is all an experiment and something i wouldn't mind fucking up on...so worst come to worst i get a mother out of the whole thing that i could use for spring and save $50 on seeds....ive successfully cloned before and have plenty of bud from my outdoor to last me until fall

They look good, but I think I would transplant them into an opaque container. The root system does not like light, imo. I run my fan 24-7 on low to help with heat distribution. This is how I prevent hot and cold spots when the lights are on and off. I know that you have more ft^2, so this may not be an issue for your environment.
Also, I would deff clean up the area and get rid of the gas can.
