How many plants could I grow under 400w HPS ? (yes its been asked but this is different, read)

Right so I'm not a new grower I was planning on quiting but I really can't quit lol and dealers are garbage and too expensive, I have like 2m height tent and I think its 1m/1m on each side, anyway I just want some quick weed so so I'm vegging 12/12 all the way to flower how many plants ? and any recommendations? I have like 10-15litre pots can I maybe grow 2 seeds in one? (yes I know you're going to tell me the 2 will try dominate each other for more room and nuts.
so go ahead suggest anything for good yields.
btw I'm working with hybrid seeds so 75/25% and 50/50 and mostly indica and mostly stativa.
I've not had problems they all finish around about same time.

If you can access all sides of the ten and your going 12/12 (not my cup of tea lol) then fill that puppy lol.

I have nuts and everything I just need to know the right size pots because even under 18/6 for 6-8 weeks and 12/12 8-10weeks under flower I still had lots of room left in 15 ltre pot when i was harvesting and I dug out the soil.

I'm a hydro guy indoors and use 5-10 gal bags outdoors but when I was in soil I think they were 3 gallon smart pots and were pretty root bound by the finish, needed to water quite often but that was years ago so kinda forget lol

9x 15 liter(3usgall) is good, and standard for 1x 400whps

but would be better under a 600whps

I can tell you this much, I have 5 plants under 1 600 watt and 1 400 watt and these are in 5 gal pots and I have difficulty keeping them within the footprint of these 2 lights. Now, it wouldnt work for me to go straight to 12/12 from seed, I need more yield than that but the thing is, its hard to do miracles. .

what are you trying to yeild? I know your not doing perpetual so just take whatever, say 4 months and you grow a pound in that time period, 16oz/4=4oz a month. What are are you looking for per month since it sounds like you want speed and yeild to be factors?

Measure the pots or put them under the light.

Yeah speed and yield, I just want something quick due to no patience I'm going crazy without weed lol, I just don't want to go 18 because it will go crazy on electric low on money at the moment as well. and an ounce will do me fine per month I smoke a gram a day.

well I can fit about 9 pots of 15 litre in the tent. but I have my fan on the floor which take abit of room so about 6-7.

I couldnt understand the first post. Are you doing 12/12 from seed? If you are id say do nine plants in half gallon containers. Indica heavy plants, not sativa. Or do an auto or two, theyre super quick and easy.

I'd say find the 12/12 experts and learn everything you can from them. Pretty sure they're somewhere on riu. Unfortuantley patience is part of growing.

James, why dont you do this...get two plants, one fast auto, and one fem reg. 24 hrs light for 75 days and youll have one plant to harvest and one plant to flip to flower....what do ya think?

I have a 4x2x5 tent with a 400W HPS. I measured so I know it will fit and I'm planning on putting like 8 plants in there fairly soon after I harvest.
each in a 3 gallon smart pot with coco perlite mix. I dont see why it wouldnt work with all the reflective material.
So I say 8!

I've got a tip for how to stretch your weed out, invest in a desktop vaporizer. Easy on the lungs and you will have weed for days!

I would do 12-16 in a soil bed if you want to do 12/12 from seed and actually yield anything. Hydro is better. This ones 12/12 from seed. really have to pick the right strain though and stability is key. Ime sativas are better than indicas for yielding 12/12 from seed because they seem to naturally veg and flower longer. Giving your plant more time over all to actually grow and produce flowers.
