  • I was told to put 3-5 seeds in one pot of soil.
  • Should I?
  • Whats the reason and how far apart should they be?

I think the idea behind the multi-seeds in one pot is to kill off all but the most vigorous one in each pot just a few days after germination (before the roots have time to compete with one another). Seems like an OK idea as long as you have plenty of seeds.

what if the ones you kill off turned out to be female. I'd rather have a weak female than a strong male.

If you are gonna toss more then one into a single pot, pt the seeds close to the edge. So you can remove them easier.

Just get a few plastic cups and do one seed per cup. its not rocket science.
